Thanks for the sweater Mom!
A Lausanne free-way at 5:30 on Monday afternoon. Just a bit less congested than the 405 in sunny CA.
I walk through a lower-income residence called the Bourdonette on my way to school or to the Metro station. There are always kids running up and down the sidewalks playing and having a good time. The kids tried setting up a toll booth one day with a piece of yarn. I couldn't understand what they exactly what they were saying but the stern look on their face and holding their hands out made it clear. I felt pretty bad all I had was 10 Swiss Francs so I had to stiff them and I don't think they took IOUs.Another day I say a girl playing alone in the drizzle, so I said, "Bonjour." She seemed so excited I acknowledged her and she looked up and me and said, "Monsieur, Il pleut!"(translation: Mr, it is raining) Of course I didn't know what it meant, but it was so nice to see a big smile. It reminded me of my nieces and nephews...I miss you all.
A French keyboard is mostly like an American keyboard, except each time I type my last name, Zohner, it always comes out Yohner. For some crazy reason the the 'Z' and 'Y' are switched. Anyone who knows why let me know.

The 'kezboard', as it is nicknamed, is mainly used in German-speaking regions. The QWERTY layout differs from the Western layout mainly because, as you noticed, the 'Z' and the 'Y' being switched. (There are other minor changes)
The letters are switched because 'Z' is more common than 'Y' in the German language. Also, the 'Z' oftentimes appears next to the 'T' in German.
Yeah Mark, I can sleep tonight knowing that info.
If Justin doesn't comment on your sweater, I'll miss my guess. How does Mark get a pic with his comments?
Glad I can help your insomnia, Ruth. :)
As for the picture, just click on your "mama" name and it'll take you to your profile. Clicking on "Edit Your Profile" will take you to where you can insert a picture.
Why does it not surprise me that Mark was on top of the keyboard issue?
