UN and Ice Skating in Geneva.

The weekend after Thanksgiving Emma had some Visa issues to take care of in Geneva so I tagged along. Although Geneve(as the non-English speakers call it) isn't my favorite city we did manage to have a great time going to the United Nations, ice skating, and having some hot wine. The hot wine is a winter time tradition in Switzerland. It is red wine spiced with some sort of mulling spice and it really hits the spot after being in the cold. Although it hasn't gotten significantly below 30 degrees Fahrenheit it is damn cold when you walk everywhere and are in the cold for much of the day. That is the luxury of jumping in your care cranking on the heat and driving half a mile to your next destination....in Switzerland you have just grin and walk it.
